We now have 2 separate spring camps! Choose the date that works best for you!! 

Our beginner friendly tri camp is the perfect getaway from the cold winter months and a great way to start your season off right! (or kick your butt into shape)

​

The camp fee will cover coaching for the week, tons of swag giveaways, bike fits, seminars, team activities, and much more! We welcome ALL levels to our Tucson camp. This camp is for building aerobic capacity on the bike, and improving efficiency in your swim and run. We will break all workouts into groups so don't worry if the winter gets to you and you are behind on your training. You will leave this camp a better athlete, regardless of what level you arrive at.

What is Included

  • Meals
    • ​All Breakfasts and Lunches are included.  Athletes are encouraged to explore what Tucson and the surrounding area has to offer for dinners! Breakfasts: Muffins, Fruit, oatmeal,​
  • Seminars​
    • ​We will go over some of the most important information you need as an athlete to continue improving
  • Training Nutrition 
    • INFINIT Products
  • Swim form analysis 
    • ​You will receive your video and feedback in a file after camp​
  • Professional Photos
    • Alexa Jade Photography will be on site at all times taking photos throughout camp and all of our activities and workouts! You will get unlimited access to these FREE professional images! ​
  • Bike Fitting appointments
    • ​There will be 2 available appointments for fittings each night. 
  • Coached training sessions 
    • ​You will have Branden Scheel Racing staff at every session watching your form and helping you improve!
  • TONS of swag!
    • ​Last camp some athletes left with close to $800 of gear! 
  • Custom Camp Tee 
    • ​Exclusive shirt for those at camp! 
  • FUN!
    • We will have a blast with new friends swimming riding and running! 

Optional Add-ons

  • Accommodations
    • Athletes who do not want the hassle of booking accommodations will have the option to stay at a team house. These spots are first-come first-served. Select double occupancy if you want to bunk with a teammate, single occupancy if you want a room to yourself! â€‹
    • This house will be booked from the afternoon of the 1st until the morning of the 7th to allow athletes to arrive early and leave the morning after camp is complete
  • Dinner on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday
    •  You MUST opt in for these on your application to camp, if you do not we will not have food for you these nights. 
  • Sweat Testing​ - $200
    • New this year, we have partnered with NIX biosensors to provide sweat testing for the duration of camp. This package includes: ​
      • Use of NIX sensor pod and patches throughout the entirety of camp

      • Enough patches to track every ride and run we do throughout camp

      • Logging of data through NIX app

      • Data analysis of your sweat rates from Coach Branden Scheel

      • Nutrition/fueling plan meeting with Branden Scheel included, where we will go over your results from camp, and create a nutrition formula based on the data we collect

      • Option to purchase pod for discount at end of camp. 

Not Included

  • Airfare/Transportation 
    • Fly in to PHX for a cheaper flight, but you will need to rent a car, find a shuttle, or carpool to Tucson.  Otherwise you can fly to Tucson for an easier travel experience. Personal transportation is not included. Please have some means to get to the pool and workout start points (athletes typically split a rental car) and make sure the car has room for bikes! 
  • Dinners on Saturday and Monday
    • ​ Go out and explore the amazing food Tucson has to offer.
​​​​**If you do not opt in to the included dinners, all dinners will be on your own.**
  • Rental bikes
    • ​ Please bring your own bike if possible! You will have far less issues than tracking down a rental bike, and most airlines do not charge extra for a bike anymore. If you need a rental please let Branden know in advance. We will work out a deal with a local bike shop.  
  • Snacks
    • ​Lots of people crave lots of things after workouts! Stop by a supermarket and make sure you have what you need for in between workouts and late night munchies!

Pricing Options

All pricing tiers include a fully immersive triathlon training experience designed to elevate your performance and deepen your understanding of the sport.

 

Athletes will receive expert coaching across swim, bike, and run disciplines, including swim form analysis with personalized feedback, structured group workouts, and seminars covering race strategy, nutrition, recovery, and more.

 

Daily breakfasts and lunches are included, along with INFINIT nutrition support throughout camp.

 

You'll also receive a custom Branden Scheel Racing camp shirt, access to professional photos from Alexa Jade Photography, and the opportunity to participate in exclusive add-on services such as sweat testing, aero testing, and advanced bike fitting.

 

Branden Scheel Racing team members receive a 25% discount on all pricing options, offering unmatched value for a high-performance week surrounded by like-minded athletes, expert coaches, and unforgettable desert training.

Camp Cost

No Accommodations $1750

Double Occupancy (One or Two Beds, Same Room) - $2400

Single Occupancy - $2800

Refund policy:

If you wish to withdraw your entry, you must notify us by phone call and email. A lot of thought and consideration goes into this policy. As athletes we do understand injury and life circumstances can impact your ability to attend camp. However, the costs of the event do not subside or change significantly with a withdrawal. 

We do appreciate your understanding, look forward to your participation in the event, and hope that you give the same thoughtful consideration of the event before signing up.

100+ Days out - 70% refund or 100% transfer to next team camp

50 days out - 50% refund or 70% transfer to next team camp

Under 50 days out - NO refund, or 30% transfer to the next team camp, unless your spot gets filled. If we are able to fill your spot before camp begins, we will give you 50% refund or 70% transfer to next team camp. 

 

After booking, you have 48 hours to change, cancel, or alter your reservation for any reason. After the 48 hour window, if you should choose to change your camp accommodations for a lower priced option, you will forfeit 50% of  the difference between the 2 options. 

 

A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot at camp. Until this 30% deposit is made, your spot is not held. This deposit is due upon application acceptance to the camp. The remainder of the balance is due in full 60 days before the first day of camp. Payments made after the due date will incur a $50 late fee.

Thursday March 13th:

12:00 Camp Starts

12:00 - Welcome presentation

12:30-3:00 - Ride with intervals

3:00-4:00 - Stretch and recover as a group

4:00-6:00 - Relax, First Seminar 

6:00-6:30 - Drive to Pool

6:30-7:30 - Evening swim

7:30 - day complete.

6:30am - Leave for pool

7:00-9:00 - Swim, Taughtness focus 

9:30-11 - Relax, lunch

11-12:30 - Seminar 

1:00-4:00 - Ride - Hill repeats

4:00-4:30 - Recover as group

4:30-5:30 relax

5:50-6:30 Progression run

6:30-7:00 - Recover as group

7:00 Day Complete - Dinner prepared for those that purchased option

5:00am - Leave for Oro Valley Tri

7:00-12:00 - Oro Valley tri

12:00-1:00 - Drive Home​

1:00-3:00 - Relax

3:00-4:00 - Swim, Alignment focus

4:00-6:00 -Relax, seminar

6:00: Day complete! Enjoy your night

Sunday March 16th:

8am - Leave for Patagonia Lake

9:30am - Arrive at Patagonia Lake

9:45-10:45 - Open water swim work 

10:45-12:00 - Lunch 

12:00-1:30 - Long run from Lake 

2:00pm - Head back to Tucson

3:30pm - Arrive back in Tucson

5:00-6:00 - Easy Sunset spin 

6:00-6:30 - Stretch as group

7:00pm - Day complete,  dinner ready for those that purchased

Monday March 17th: 

8:00am - Group 1 Leaves for Lemon 

9:00am - Group 2 Leaves for Lemon 

9:00 - Group 1 Arrive at Le Buzz, Start Lemon climb 

10:00 - Group 2 Arrive at Le Buzz, Start Lemon climb

Alternate route/route back to Airbnb provided for those who do not want to/can't make it to the top

4:30 - Back at Airbnb, pack bikes, stretch

5:30 Dinner available for those who purchased option 
6:30-8pm - Sweat patch meetings for those that did sweat testing throughout camp
